Spittle Runner camp

Ok its not really finished but I dont think I ever will so Im putting it up. A loooonng time ago I saw the deleted version of the Irken take over of Earth shown through the VR helmets in Door to door. One of the first things you see is a row of Spittle Runners lined side by side on the beach. I thought it was SO cool for some reason, I guess cuz its one of the rare moments we've seen a parked ship of the armada. So I drew this, you could imagine its in the desert on Earth or on an alien world its your choice. While I was at it I designed uniforms for what could be the Irken air force (or space force.) Here we see a crew being inspected by one of the captions. I really liked the idea of this picture cuz it allowed me to add extra detail to the spittles that I guess wasnt possible in the CG animation in the show. I made the windows transparent so you can see (what I imagine) the bridge to be. We see the front window cannon mounted on the second floor, two folding wing cannons, and one rear ground facing cannon. Except for the ground cannon all the areas with weapons have been proven to exist from seeing it in the show.

I just assume that the rear window is a cannon with a protective dome over it, I could think of no other reason for it. I reason I stopped right before shading is because I just couldnt get it to look right at that angle, also this picture wore me out so perhaps if I tried again now I could shade it. I also got frusterated cuz as I was photoshopping I noticed the perspective was way off on some things ><!

Oh and I just wanted to point out if you didnt notice yourself, those Spittle runners are HUGE and seeing as they are just tiny dots compared to the Massive it REALLY puts things into perspective, I couldnt begin to imagine how huge the massive must be XD.
