Nex-Kel's Past

Yayzors, now you guys get to see what a comic of mine looks like when the absolute least amount of time and effort is put into it. Enjoy. BTW, remember the Plukeesions from the Dwicky episode?


So yeah, Nex-Kel, you remember right? haha I kid, I know you don't. But I feel she is about to start becoming more well known and may be like a Zeep one day. (Just as Sanoon predicted)

From this you now know that poor Nex-Kel lost her parents during the Irken ground war on Vort. This really shows the horror of war, you can beat one thing that tries to kill you only to get killed by something else. She was born right before the Irken's surprise attack on Vort. Her and her family had taken shelter in a cave after Shouvers had bombarded the cities. It's hard to tell but this comic is taking place at night time.. you can see the Spittle Runners with their search lights flying around. Her parents were far from highly trained soldiers, in fact they were pretty much pushed into the army, given uniforms and guns and thrown out into the battlefield. So yeah as soon as that squad of Elites cam they were screwed no matter what. This loss of parents was the unfortunate past of so many hornlings, those who weren't made into hornling stew.

No her parents don't have names.. so just make some up.

Because of this experience Nex-Kel is very nervous around Irkens, which she's forced to work with at Vort 9. I wanted to put how she met Owen in the comic but it was getting too long. But pretty much Owen offered her friendship and Nex-Kel trusted her.. you know cuz she's Owen.. she's good at not being scary. Owen and Plink are about the only Irkens she feels comfortable around.

This comic is the first that I've used what I call the 'enslavers.' These odd gray dudes were seen in Zim's holographic helmet in Door to Door. Because of this it's hard to know if the empire really use these guys to capture and cage races or not.. But me and Sanoon agree that Zim was dumb enough to show Dib correct details about the armada in Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom.. so they probably are really used.

It's pretty much up to debate if they are alive or robots.. as you can see I believe they are robots, not very intelligent robots eaither. But they could also be another ally race with the Irkens or a captured race. The biggest hint that they are alive is that they have ears. But to balance it out, I noticed that on the screen at the beginning of Hobo 13 we see a diagram for guys that look alot like these guys... Look in the upper little pictures:

This comic was done in a way trying to mimic 's fight comics, he is the god of it in my opinion. Also the uniforms the Vorts are wearing are his design.
