This was gonna be all super-awesome shaded like the picture of Teireia I did a while back. Though due to a few reasons I'm simply submitting it as is now. I need to get some stuff up here on DA, also my new PC has a problem doing 'render lighting' in PS. >o;

So here is my character profile page for Grand Master and his wife Upi'liea who together form the founding, and to some 'royal,' couple of the entire Shallieh clan-ship. Every decision ever made, every tradition, every rule was done by these two. The Shallieh is quite easily considered their life's work and baby, never having had kids together. They've been together most of their lives and could be aged around the human equivalent of their late 50s.

Here, I guess Reiuki was in the process of meditation when his affectionate Upi'liea keeled down beside him to give him a petting.. he doesn't seem to mind the interruption. ^^

While the entire clan and it's founding is in every way 'theirs' Reiuki and Upi'liea do not consider themselves rulers or superiors to their followers, only teachers and guides. Every rule ever made was only in the best interests of the people, like a parent caring for their children. The entire focus of the Shallieh to begin with was to help, those who wished to, expand their mental and physical capabilities.

Grand Master Reiuki: (Re-you-key) was the original gifted individual out of the two. His unique mental conditioning in the forms of abilities such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, Clairvoyance, were simply mostly a by-product of the way of life he'd had since a very young age. Having always found interest and enjoyed puzzles of any kind and finding a comforting routine of meditation and physical 'yoga-esk' activities it seems as if his mind and body was always working in a positive and enlightening way. Ever since he found, quite accidentally that he was able to make a utensil on the table weakly slide toward him simply by thinking about picking it up, he spent a good portion of his free time exploring this never before seen 'event' and refining his 'skills.'

Grand Masteruss Upi'liea: (Ophelia) Unlike her to-be husband, Upi's past was much less unique. Being native of the foreign species Scymanteria from the north-eastern region of Marasaisa, greatly known for their naturally alluring physical colors and beauty, she originally was in the career of modeling. Exactly the same kind of modeling career you'd think of from Earth, media, magazines, the Scymanteria equivalent.

One night, at a national female beauty competition she'd been participating in, the judges unfortunately called her out at 6th place in the final round. Being rather sensitive in nature and overcome with emotion Upi stormed out of the building in tears. It was this event that set fate in motion for Upi'liea and Reiuki's first meeting.

The Love Story: While trying to recover her emotions by walking through the nearby city park, a young Reiuki happened to be packing up his gear. He'd been earning extra income on the side by preforming in the park with his mental light-shows. It was here the two crossed paths, he was understandably taken aback by seeing Upi, a young model, dressed in her fanciest outfit, walking alone in a park at night time. Upi'liea was there to be alone, though after some calm and welcoming coaxing she reluctantly sat down to talk over her problems with the stranger. Reiuki's calm and comforting personality was almost instantly appealing to the young and a pampered model.

At the end of the night, after a few hours of talking which seemed like minutes, he decided to put on one last show just for her. Reaching into his bag of phosphorescent minerals, throwing them into the air, then locking them into a whirl-wind of light! Upi'liea was amazed and delighted at seeing such a magical and mesmerizing show. Having gotten comfortable around her, as well as knowing she was in need of an esteem rejuvenation, Reiuki's show climaxed with the formation of a floating blue crown floating just over Upi's amazed head, and 'glitter' over her beak. Then in his soft yet focused voice he told her "you shine brighter then the stars my dear, you don't require a crown to see that.." after that there was no going back for these two. Upi'liea eventually became Reiuki's first student, and with her encouragement the two of them formed the Shallieh, and once it became large enough they left the civilized word for the seclusion of the arctic caves.
